Places you used to smoke
Obviously, you can’t avoid your car or your house, but if you used to smoke by the back door at work or at the diner down the street, take a break from those places for a while. |

H.A.L.T. (Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired)
You’re most likely to slip when you’re hungry, angry, lonely or tired, so take care of yourself. Think ahead so you don’t get into a tough spot. |
If you find yourself in a tempting situation, do something about it immediately:
- Get up.
- Leave the room.
- Take a walk.
- Go home.
- Do whatever it takes to beat it. But get out of there.
